As a Chief Marketing Officer and growth architect at VC and PE-backed companies from $20 million to $2 billion, he has successfully guided organizations through revenue expansion, business strategy, go-to-market, marketing, sales, BD, product evolution, pivots, organizational change management and M&A. For Adrian, it always about creating the most effective, efficient and scalable Marketing Engine that drives exponential growth and builds sustainable brands.

He brings deep SaaS expertise, frequently operating businesses as a P&L owner and business growth lead: (re)building and executing go-to-market strategy and positioning brands, defining product > market alignment, (re)positioning and launching products & services, scaling demand generation "engines", growing revenues, entering new markets, building sales & partner channels, tackling turnarounds & pivots, introducing new categories, assembling & mentoring high-performing teams and supporting M&A and IPO outcomes. Adrian has also led organizations through pre and post-IPO Sarbanes Oxley implementation & compliance.

Adrian has been instrumental in helping technology companies raise over $500 million in venture capital and realizing over $3 billion in shareholder value through M&A or public offerings. He has also supported over $1 billion in new acquisition activity for his client companies.

As AvH Associates' engagement lead, Adrian runs each project, serving as your de-facto CMO or Growth Coach, conducting marketing audits, building go to market and business expansion strategies.

Born in Japan, raised in Holland and transplanted to Canada, Adrian attended the University of British Columbia and now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
